#plucker and sunrise are great programs, I use them quite a bit with wikipidia, but recently I have had it cause resets. It loads then i choose document then the screen goes black it makes that clicking noise and resets.

I nvbackedup and it worked, then after a couple of days it caused resets again - are there any known issues or conflicts other people have experienced?

Try to find the application Cleanplkr. It will clean out some files that will prevent resets with Plucker.

If you have Filez (or another file manager) installed, you can manually delete the flies PlkrDocList, Plkr-[filename], and Plkr-cache (if it's there). This will force plucker to rebuild the doclist, and remove some temp/cache files. It will mean that the plucker docs will be opened at page one because it won't remember where you left off.

I usually have to do this after the battery runs down completely and plucker was the last program open.

Get CleanPlkr here: http://www.plkr.org/snapshots/CleanPlkr.prc As Ziggy already said, that will probably fix your problems. I believe it does the same thing that arth33 is saying, it just does it for you instead of having to look for individual files.

I've had to do this several times, always fixes things right up :D

deleting plkr-[filename] i sunnecessary... deleting the other DBs will fix it :-)
Not to mention deleting all those is a pain in the arse when your in the middle of a huge document/story
