Here's an FYI, the NX70V is very durable.
My NX went through an ad hoc drop test, this incident was not planned ... but it hit a solid surface at a speed equivalent to falling from a 1st floor, maybe even 2nd floor, window (I won't explain why). It performed as well as before and the camera still worked & focussed. The only issue is that the clamshell is no longer as closely alligned to the body, although the swivel action still works. This will be fixed shortly.
I do not recommend anyone test my observations, and I take no responsibility in the event anyone tries this out. :D
So apart from Sony making a great toy (now with CF memory), it can also withstand the rigours of life...
