After reading some forums, it seems that there are two methods to sync between a clie and a mac: one with palm desktop and the other with isync, ical, etc.
If someone could provide me with directions to set up syncing with palm desktop that would be great. Also if i were to sync with the palm desktop software would i be using isync? do I just download the apple palm conduit? Any directions would be good.
Thanks
To use Palm Desktop, you don't need iSync. Just download the latest version of Palm Desktop (4.1 for OS X) from Palm's site, and you are good to go.
Since you plan to use Bluetooth instead of USB, you can set that preference in Setup under the HotSync menu. Keep in mind that Bluetooth is slower than USB.
Many Mac/Clie users purchase the MissingSync software from Mark/Space, which helps certain models to sync (especially over USB) and has some nice extras, such as iTunes and iPhoto integration.
Hope that helps, elo
Go to the pref. settings of your tg50
add new connection
set bluetooth
speed 115200
auto flow control
turn on bluetooth on both devices.... now it works...

Syncing with BT on my mac and TG50 is great except for these two BIG problems:
1- can't do net sharing without shutting down the hotsync connection
2- BT is SLOW SLOW. The usb connection is insanley fast compared to BT 'as fast as possible'

You get a USB BT adaptor. OSX supports the belkin and others.
If you have OSX and usb, you can use BT.
