Thus proving the UX50 is King :p
More than half of those results must have to do with battery life, buying more batteries, how to improve battery life, etc. :p
The TH55 results are all praises. :D

Selective googling:
Results 1 - 100 of about 1,040,000 for Sl-10
Results 1 - 100 of about 171,000 for clie sl-10.
Results 1 - 100 of about 164,000 for sony clie sl-10.
Your results may vary if you write PEG....
Maybe the Sl-10 is a battery hog or I just happened to have one bad AAA battery in my clie? I guess it is the only black and white hi-res screen Palm based device that also uses disposable/rechargeable AAA batteries.

How do you manage to use your sl10 with rechargable batteries, Philpalm??!! I have one that is sitting in the back of a drawer somewhere because my concern for the planet prevents me using disposables with it.

NiMh batteries have a higher voltage than NiCd( which are more polluting if not disposed properly).
I have been experimenting on recharging alkaline batteries, when the level gets to be around fifty percent on the battery life, I recharge them in a NiCad battery charger for less (Less than half an hour is very important because they are liable to explode if charged too long) than 15 minutes and retest them to see if they absorb a charge. Using alkaline that are designed to be rechargeable is also an option though their mercury content may or may not be acceptable.
Anyway using SL-10 you need more than one set of batteries. Four is the minimum to keep the data stored intact. Newer NiMh batteries also have shorter recharge time.
