Correct me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't the real difference between an SJ20 and an SJ30 their screens? If SJ22 is going to implement hi-res color, what's to differ it from an SJ30? The number designation? I don't think it'll have Mp3 capabilities for only 200 dollars retail...

From what I can tell, the SJ22 will be a SJ33 without mp3, and a permanent metal flip top cover to annoy everyone. If the writing pad is going away, how are you supposed to write? I dont like the idea of only writing on the screen.. that will cause too many unnessesary scratches IMO.

The SJ22 has no mp3 player!!! The SJ33 is the one with the mp3 player. While both have a permanent top cover neither have virtual graffiti areas. Nor will they have Palm OS4.1.2 which means they will use graffitti not graffiti2.

Don't ask me why the SJ22 has been created as it seems exactly like the SJ30.

EDIT:  In case you didn't notice before, the link that Unicorn provided shows the SJ33 in that picture to the left not the SJ22.

I just might sell my SJ20, and get that mp3 one! I wonder if the actual unit is black, like the cover.

I don't mind the permanent flip cover, I keep mine on all the time.

I won't be getting an SJ22 or a SJ33. Sure both are great devices, but I'm waiting for an OS5 SJ30 or so device with voice recorder, MP3 playback and a user replaceable battery. I just love my SJ30 and right now I wouldn't trade it for anything.

You dont have to wait. They are replacing the t with a sjxx stly with os 5 mp3 vg and so on.

That is nice to hear, but I'm waiting for some confirmation on the device. I'm sure the device will be in the SJ form factor, and maybe look just like or very similar to the recently announced SJ33 device. I love the idea of a hard flip cover integrated into the design but I want a small Sony OS5 Device. I tried a Tungsten T but it's washed out looking screen and the dust under the screen where two big problems I did not like.
