I just lost my Picsel browser core.pdb and English language pacts - can some lovely kind and generous person maybe send me the package or missing files? my email is jamesgraylx@yahoo.com

carlusius, does that install all the needed files for PicselBrowser? Does it work on the Palm TX?

All you need to install is:

EnglishLanguagePack.pdb
PCRP.prc
Picsel Browser Core.pdb
Picsel Browser_eng_wy.prc
SMPT.prc

and optionally Picsel Accelerator :)

Yea, the help file is missing for some reason..... I never read manuals anyway, so for me it didn't matter :p

Am I doing something wrong here? I can't get mykbd to work with PB. Everytime I try to enter something it is as if I'm not tapping on anything - no input. If I put the DIA down then back up again it goes down by itself. All I did was tap the icon for the web and try to enter a URL using a combination of the choices there and mykbd.

1) myKbd doesn't work at all in Picsel Browser. Put it in Graffiti mode BEFORE you launch PB.

2) You need MaxX (from PalmPowerups) to use the DIA :)

That is really too bad - I depend on mykbd. It may mean I won't use PB, unfortunately since it seems like a really nice app.

I already have MaxX installed.

1) I know, I love myKbd to, but it's not that big of a deal, because I use PB mostly for viewing PDF's, so no data entry needed.

2) Sorry I forgot to mention this, but MaxX needs to be installed after you install any apps that need it i.e. install NetFront, then PB, then MaxX. This is what has worked for me, but it didn't for others, so..... :)

Oh. So I have to uninstall and reinstall, or can I just reinstall?

I would uninstall MaxX, then reinstall, and then try to use PB/NF. Then tell me what happens :)

Has anybody gotten Picsel Browser to work on the Treo 700p yet? I bet not even Dmitry could do it... it just won't work

Well, without MaxX, you CAN'T put the DIA down.

I find that it defaults to up, but can be removed with MaxX installed. Also, MaxX has a hidden feature: when in landscape mode (in any app), you can hide the statbar by dragging the stylus across the top of the screen from right to left. Drag again to restore it.

For me, Without MaxX the DIA will not go up. When I press up, it will go up for half a second then down. With MaxX the DIA will do whatever I tell it to, up and down. This is why I don't understand what Dmitry is saying :confused:

Hi everybody.
I know that PB isnīt meant for palmOS pdas.

I been using it on my Zire 72 and it works perfect, but on my TX I couldnīt scroll the .html pages with up & down keys.
This doesnīt happen with the .doc files.

My files are:
EnglishLanguagePack.pdb
PCRP.prc
Picsel Browser Core.pdb
Picsel Browser_eng_wy.prc
SMPT.prc

Also:
Picsel Accelerator
MaxX

Anybody have a solution?
