Hey Everyone

Been following this forum for awhile now. Having gone through several PPC,s and a few Palm based products I have finally settled on my NZ90. I originally had a Toshiba e740 which was cutting edge but way too many problems and the tech support from Toshiba was non existent so back to the store it went. Next I purchased my Palm T/T which is for the price an excellent unit. I was very happy with that till I saw the NZ90 at my local staples. Well finally convinced myself to buy. Gave the T/T to my gf and have not looked back since. So here are my thoughts

Being able to us CF cards was a big reason I bought this unit. I bought the CF driver before I even had my NZ90 so I was highly motivated. LOL

My 1 gig microdrive did funny things in my unit so I ebayed that and bought a 1 gig sandisk CF card which works great

The screen. WOW what can I say that you all don’t know already. It’s perfect. Big and bright and easy to see outside

It’s fast. Much faster then my T/T. It is noticeable, and the T/T is fast as well.

Not too happy about the lack of main memory but thank god for jack flash :)

Camera is great. Takes very good pictures. Very impressed.
Was able to take over 230 pictures once the battery was properly broken in.

The battery leaves something left to be desired until you break it in. Thankfully I did a lot of research on this site and now I am getting just over 7 hours usuable from a full charge. Of course that means when I am not doing anything at all with the backlight on min. But am easily getting 5 hours or more when using it a lot.

The multimedia capabilities of this unit are incredible. Playing movies and mp3’s are a real pleasure. Having the remote and the headphones included is very good. In fact this has to be the best multimedia unit I have had to date. The T/T was great, the e740 sucked badly and the NZ90 is the best. Sure there are a few problems using CF and movies but there are work arounds for now.

I must say that I am very happy with the Palm OS. Always thought it was kinda toyish but then when I finally tried it I was hooked. Far more stable then Windows CE, and much quicker.
