I previously had a Sony Clie TH 55 and downloaded and used the Power48 HP Graphing Calculator emulator. Then the TH 55 stopped working reliably so I upgraded or downgraded to the Palm TX, depending on your perspective. I cannot get the Power48 to find the ROM files on the expansion card on the TX. The emulator that I used on the Clie would not allow the Graffiti area to disappear but it found the ROM files OK. I downloaded an update Power48 and this one uses the whole screen, but can't find the ROM files on the expansion card. Any suggestions?

Works fine for me!?!

The ROM-Files are in PALM/Programs/Power48 and are named e,g, HP48GX.p48rom.

Hope it helps,
Thomas

I used Power48 on my old Clies but found there was a lot I wasn't really using and I never felp totally happy with it. I tried MathU from Creative Creek and found it far more usable as an everyday calculator. MathU works fine as a pop up with OnTop so is instantly available on my T5.

Admittedly it's not free but it's hardly expensive either.

I put the ROM files in Palm/Programs/Power48 as well as the Objects folder. I created the folders and put the files there using MyComputer. Then with the card in the Palm, I loaded Power48 with HotSync. Is there another way? Also, did you use the same .prc that you had in the Clie, or can you suggest where I can get the updated App?

Power 48 is nice, but too small. Hp48 was the last of a great line of calculators in my opinion. The 49 just wasn't "there". MathUPro is a great adaption on the Palm Tx. I guess PDAs helped kill-off HP calculators.
