(I previously asked this in the UX forum)

I don't own a Clie. I'm trying to find out if Clie models with Palm OS 5.x have issues with applications that use 320x320 resolution.

I know the older Clie models that come with Palm OS 4.x and hires displays do not have Palm's High-Density Display Feature Set - instead, Sony used their own API. So, they don't support all hires applications. In those devices, the v3bhack can sometimes fix/enable applications that are not Sony-API-aware.

Do you NX owners need the v3bhack to see, for example, hires icons? Or do you not need it?

What I'm really asking is, does your model have the High-Density Display Feature Set? But, the answer to the previous question should answer this one.

Thanks.

Terry

Don't know about the specifics, but the NX70 has 320x480 resolution. Apps that display in either 160x160 or 320x320 don't seem to be a problem as graffiti area at the bottom of the screen is "rolled up" to make the display 320x320. Hi-Res capable apps, allow the user to selectively roll-up or roll-down the graffiti area.

As I use "Graffiti Anywhere" I just leave the default graffiti area rolled-down, and write across the full screen.

Well they support 320x320 apps fine, so I guess it does.

I've never had any problem with 320x320 apps with my nx70v :-)
