Can a PDA be removed from a desktop?

I have two destops, one at work and one at home. And I aslo have two PDA's, one I carry all the time and an other one. I was having problems with one PDA, and ended up hard reseting it, and created a new PDA profile on the4 desktop. Is there a way to remove the old without uninstalling the desktop soaftware?

hard reset first. and back up using the latest version of lipsync.

Launch your Palm Desktop, go to "Tools/Users" and delete the one you do not want. After completion of this step, using your windows explorer, navigate to \Program Files\Sony Handheld\ and delete the folder with the name you just deleted! ;)
