Hi, I am using NVBackup on my Treo 755P and it works great. I have it backup each morning and then copy that backup to a FTP server. It uploads just fine and I can see the files on the FTP server from a computer. So again, they are getting uploaded just fine.

When I go to the 'server' option and try to 'Import from server' it logs into the server just fine but I cannot see the backup sets from within NVBackup for some reason. I see no remote backup sets listed to import.

The files are there, as I said, and it is logging in correctly. If I add a different path a new directory is created so all seems well on the UL side.

I would like to be able to copy the backup set down from the server in an emergency like it was intended for.

I also tried various file permissions on the FTP server side but it was the same result.

BTW This is one GREAT program Alex. It restores perfectly and has already saved my butt :) If you accept PayPal for a donation, let me know.

P.S. Does anyone know of a way that I can use an encrypted port, 22, to UL/DL these? I do encrypt the data. Not a huge deal, just asking while I was here :)

Just the other day I tried uploading one of my backups to an FTP server, and like you said they did upload (I could see them with an FTP file browser), but NVBackup didn't see them. I would be very interested if somebody knew the answer to this.

<BUMP>

No one else uses or wants to use this feature then?

:)
