Hey: 1st off this is a great group, as I have defected from EPOC32 platform to Palm and am new to it as well as my NX70V.

Just DL'ed above demo.

Any problems with this at all?

I am a little leary about poking into this stuff without some experience.

Also, how much Flash Rom is in the NX70V anyway? If it is only a couple megs, it's not worth screwing with.

What can I expect to gain for my $20!!!!!

Thanks, Jay.

There really is no risk in using JackFlash. Jacksprat on the other hand is risky...but since it is not and will not be OS5 compatible, we don't have to worry about it.

I have 4924K ROM I can use on my NX70V. I heartily recommend it. Hope this helps.:)

There are several excellent threads in the NX forum on JackFlash, regarding which apps have issues being in Flash, etc.  Recommended reading before using.  Do NOT load the demo you downloaded, though.  It isn't the OS5 version.  There is no demo for the OS5 version ~ it's still in beta, although available for purchase (and, as jconaway99 states, it works wonderfully!)

Thanks for the info.

I am interested in moving the Docs TO Go apps and other memory hogs that won't work well on the stick.

Anyone have a quick list of a few apps that WON'T work with JackFlash.

Also, I am using DataViz Mail and the mail folder (database of the actual messages defaults to Handheld. Any way to set it up to go to the MS and then continue to add new messages to that location with new HotSync?

Search for JackFlash in the NX thread. It is all there:)

Yep, JackFlash has done wonders for me! If you don't use something like JackFlash, you are basically letting over 4mb of memory go to waste. Personally, I think it is worth the investment to get the extra memory so you can move some of the files off main RAM and into flash memory.

Had some problems with beta 3, but upgraded to b6 once I got my NX70v and haven't had ANY issues since.

Hope this helps...
