Guidance please! I just bought the NX70V this weekend (after much deliberation and comparisions with Palm's lineup) and now I've read that Sony might be releasing a new version of the NX. Does anyone have a sense of when that might be and whether it will be a significant improvement over the current model? Perhaps it would be worth it for me to return the one I just bought and wait.
Also, in reading some of the postings, it seems like many people like the Bellagio case (flip design). Any thought about it's ability to protect the unit since the sides are open?
Thanks in advance-
Dino

About the new models coming out, I wouldnt upgrade unless the processor is much faster. If the new NX's differences are only a better camera and bluetooth etc, I wouldnt upgrade. I already have a full blown digital camera and the nx70v's camera is good enough for quick shots for refferences. But, if I was on your boat and had just bought the NX70 recently, I would have at least waited until the specs of the new models were realeased? So its good you have an option! Either way the NX70v is a wonderful device, especially with the introduction of the CF driver. Welcome to the forum. :)

I have a Bellagio case and love it! It is a bit thicker than many of the other cases available, but it fits very snugly and protects the clie just fine despite the open sides.
I have dropped it while stepping out of a helicopter (my height plus another 3 feet for the height of the skids) and it did just fine - not even a scratch.
from a practical standpoint, there are no cases. it is all in your mind.
