Advanced Exchange V. Sticking it out?

Hey guys,

Is it worth the 40$ to perform an advanced exchange to get my T|X back? I am tired of not having a device already and think it may be faster. Has anyone ever done this? Does it work any quicker than a standard exchange?

The way to do it is to have a second computer, pda, hard drive or any thing else that is important enough to you that you cannot be without it. Then you can afford to be without the 'first' one if you need to have it repaired.

It may cost more money (the second one can be of lesser value) but it sure solves the problems that can arise without having a 'spare'.

It seems like a lot of people have no problem spending money for extended warranties but yet think that having a 'spare' device, whatever it is, is somehow wrongful. I think of these two issues exactly the other way around. ;)

Well, i dont have extended warrenty, and my laptop is not as portable as I'd like... (blame the parents ;))
