Any great cases for SJ 30 in leather?

The Sena cases referenced in gagetfreek's reply are quite nice. They were running a two for one special on the SL10 cases, which fit the SL30. The only difference is that SL10 cases have a small cutout on the side for the battery charger connection. They had a couple of different colored cases available last time I checked.

I use the case from ebcases.com. It's decent but I would prefer the leather to wrap around the clie tighter.

Also take a look at the Bellagio Designs cases. They are at Bellagiodesigns.com, and they are the only case ((their advertising is where I get this)) that allows charging in the case. Flip cover that does not drop its contents on the floor when open, nice colors and sturdy leather, all with a belt clip.

the E&B case also allows me to charge while in the case (with the cable not cradle) and the pockets open towards the center rather than out.

I just bought a SJ-30, and I found a GREAT selection of cases on, Bellagiodesigns.com. With or without beltclips and in all leather!

gotr6... you referred to the side SL10 jack as a batt charger connection. is it possible to use that jack with an AC adapter to power the Clie? (i don't want to get off topic, but i really want to know this)

i've been eyeing the Krusell handit case on EBay for some time. The only problem is that i kinda' want more protection than leather. But with the metal cases with the fliptop (what i would want), i don't think i'd like the fact that the lid stays wide open and doesn't fold all the way back. If i wanted to attach a keyboard, this might get in the way (if i had an infrared kb at least- an appealing kb for me).

I have the Bellagio case for my SJ-30 and have been quite happy with it. It's difficult to fit it into the cradle properly because the leather flap in the back is quite stiff, so I generally slide it out when I need to sync.

Also, I don't think the credit card/MS slots are usable. They can touch the screen when closed and their is too much bending force on that flap if you flip it all the way around and snap it in the back.

legohead: Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I don't own an SL10. I guess i just assumed that the side port was for a battery charger. Perhaps an SL10 owner can help?

These are all leather cases, since that is what I am interested in getting. I am not recommending these cases per se, I am just giving you links to various sites that I have looked at. One note, the Bellagio case allows you to hotsync without removing it from the case. I hope this helps and happy case hunting.

For what it's worth, I had a Sena case for my SJ30 and used the MS slots without any problems whatsoever. They touched the screen when closed, but there was no indication of scratching or any such problem.
