Hey guys, recently I've been enjoying the Google suite of online tools ie: Reader/Mail/Calendar, and was wondering if they had any products for Palm? Or another option would be any type of application that functions similarly, but real Google apps would of course be the best because they would sync online and such. Any info is appreciated.

They make GoogleMaps* for the Palm OS, and also a Gmail program that is Java-based (can be run with IBM JVM), but I find it less suitable than the web interface.

*The GoogleMaps program is not full-screen compatable on 320*480 devices, and is only 320*320. Although there is a Java-based GoogleMaps program that is 320*480 capable, but the Palm OS is much more feature-rich and easy-to-use.

Other than the already mentioned Google Maps there are no stand alone apps. However you can use www.google.com/m/products in Blazer to view your Google reader, calendar etc...

Thanks for letting me know about the mobile browser versions, I wasn't aware that they existed. Is there a mobile youtube site or any apps surrounding it?

They're .3GP video files. They should play on my Razr ('cause that's the format a Razr records video in) or, if downloaded, they should play it on a T|X with TCPMP or Coreplayer.

(Among other options...)

Mobile YouTube is streaming only, so playback on a TX is....um....hard. It can be done with Kinoma, and a while back another 1src member (cms IIRC) even tried to get Blazer 4.5 streaming capabilities (not the browser itself) working on the TX but it didn't work. The Kinoma interface would not get past buffering the file. I even tried with the H263 libraries, but it didn't work. I then tried added other lib's (codec's), but all I got were reset loops :(
