Again about a problem I reported months ago, now I have a better understanding. My mobile (Samsung SGH-Z150) works fine as BT modem for the PC (Win XP), with the instructions provided by the phone company (Italian TIM). However, it does not work similarly with the TX. I though it was something to do with the phone or the phone driver (not existing for the palm) but when I tried with the old phone (Siemens S55) I discovered the same. SMS via BT are ok, but not the modem. Moreover, although S55 is nominally supported by both MobileHighSpeed and Palm's Phone Link v 3, BT connection is configured on the TX as "connection to LAN" via BT instead of "connection to modem" via BT (?!?!). Result is that e-mail exchange sometime works (connection is lost frequently), web browsing does not work at all.
I think all the above can be summarised in: which is different between the way the PALM OS connects to a BT modem and that WIN XP does? Is there any parameter or script to be set in the PALM to establish connection to a BT modem as WIN XP does?
