Hi all,

Unfortunately, my question falls very specifically to a subset of possible users of the TH55... those that use Mobile Stream's CardReader application with an Apple computer with an Intel processor.

Does CardReader work for you on the Mac w/ Intel processor?

The reason I ask is that I thought it did for me previously, at least prior to the last software update. I can connect with my iMac running 10.4.10 on top of a G3 processor, but when trying to connect on my MacBook (Intel processor) running 10.4.10, nothing happens. The small dialog pops up saying "connecting" but the read/write status on the screen never changes and the card never mounts. I have tried a couple of different cards. The card mounts fine if I put it in a physical card reader and the CardReader app works fine on my TX (ugghh).

Anyone willing to report back?

No, it doesn't work. I've been using a card reader.

Actually, it does now work as of version 1.07. I took my question to them and they were able to confirm it. Within a couple of days, they had sent me a version that worked. If you are a registered user, I recommend e-mailing them to see if they can send it to you.

I was thrilled with their level of support.

And yes, I should have posted my results here to answer my own question :)

Hmm, than MarkSpace should fix their version. They must have been lying when they said it was impossible.

Here's another USB card reader user. Cheep, simple and easy.
