I just noticed something today on my Palm TX, sliding the stylus from the upper right corner, to the upper left corner horizontally toggles the statusbar. Warning, for some reason doing this with Palm's builtin launcher caused me a reset, but it worked with FileZ, Prefs, ScrBtn ect. (anything 320*480). Just thought I'd give a heads up, because I know some third party programs do this (myKbd, mySkin), but this feature seems to be builtin.

mySkin also lets you tap on the bottom edge of the status bar to do this.
Though I liked the sliding from right to left (maxX) instead of acidently tapping to low on the status bar (myskin), the only way to easly use the built in media app in full screen was to use myskin. Dmitry's MaxX causes "media" to freak out, when using its full screen keystroke when viewing an image.
