Facer or Zlauncher

I am debating whether to use Facer or Zlauncher as my launchers. What are the pros and cons of these programs and which is more popular?

Of the two you mentioned, Facer doesn't make the top 5, in terms of popularity among participants in this site. What others like isn't what is important, it's about what you like.

I agree with sebring... with launchers or any apps, you should fully try them out and see which best meets your needs.

Having said that, I think ZLauncher is by far the best launcher available. Combine its rich feature set with VERY frequent updates and great customer support, and it can't be beat.

If you strictly go by the number of features, ZLauncher has more. No Question. It's like driving a Hummer2 to the ice cream store. So much power but hardly ever needed. Plus, It's big (1MB) I like Zlauncher.

The things I like about Facer is the Today view and the fact its small. (300K, a little more if you add skins). It is very easy to skin.

They're both good launchers. Try both and then choose. Just because the majority of people here like ZL doesn't mean it's the best for you.

I don't consider Facer much of a launcher. It's primarily a today app with a launcher thrown is as an afterthought. The launcher portion has very limited functionality. I also found version 1.6 buggy. I have a review of both Facer and a slightly older version of ZLauncher on PDAAvenue (http://www.pdaavenue.com). ZLauncher is far more powerful and customizable.

I use both. ZLauncher is what I consider my launcher for sure, but I have Facer on my NX because sometimes it's nice to just have that today view!

I'm a ZLauncher user myself. Though in all honesty, I've not tried Facer.
