NR70V hangs at Hard reset!

Hi eveyone! Would appreciate some help as I'm can't find any solution.
I just restored my palm OS using FlashOS and the NR70V ROM as I wanted to use back some of the default apps. After it finished writing, the set prompted me to erase everything and did a hard reset. From there, it just hanged! at the palm startup screen , no matter how many times I did it!
My set is out of warranty amd I'm in deep ****...

I'm in panic as I can't afford another PDA now, pls help!!!

I've never had to do it myself, but I hear that allowing the battery to COMPLETELY drain often repairs issues like this. Once you put it back on the cradle, it apparently works just like new.
