Anyone bought them? I'm choosing between the two of them now, and I am wondering which one I should go for. I know the Bodyguards have the best optical quality, but I am more concerned about coverage now.

To bad BSE doesn't make one.

Well, I haven't tried this, but BSE has a DIY skin that you just have to cut to fit. I'd say if you can get an outline of the screen and cut with a razor or exacto it would work out fine.

I just ordeerd some sheets from BSE, as well as their skin for the DS lite.

I know I can cut one myself, but that is just so much work. I am starting to have too many gadgets to take care of already!

I guess these things aren't so popular with the TX crowd. But it's a hit with the iphone. Invisible Shields even have a new skin which covers the corners. This is pretty slick if you ask me.

I just went to the Invisible Shield (http://www.theinvisibleshield.com) site. Cool! I think I will try one, I just need to pick a device. My TX is in a hard case, but I could still wrap it. I think I'll go more toward a full body wrap on my Sansa e280 for $25. If that works out, I'm wrapping all my toys with this. The videos show it sticking on round corners and all... We shall see.

Looks cool. Let us know your outcome.

oh IS is pretty popular and I have it myself on my Creative Zen Vision M. It really is good and all, but the only reason I'm not using it is because I'm going to use a Otterbox for my TX. Problem is the IS can get stuck to that plastic shield that the Otterbox has. The Invisible Shield gets stuck *and I mean stuck almost fused you have to really pull apart* to the plastic face (it's kind of like a flexible plastic sheet) and it messes up both the shield and the face of the case or box. I learned my lesson because I kind of did this with the Creative Zen and a armband holder. I had to pull hard to get the shield off and when I did it stretched and distorted the look. Thought you should know since it's not exactly warned against too much.

I was wondering since their videos don't discuss removal. In your experience, does the IS really not scratch at all? If it gets wrecked, I'm going to want to remove it. The trick to pulling anything very sticky off of a flexible/fragile surface is to not pull up, but double it back on itself so there isn't an upward stress on the surface you're removing from. This isn't good if you plan on reapplying that protector because it will crease it badly. I learned that from rolling out hundreds of laptops in my desktop support days.

True, I remember that day and just panicked though. Another helpful way is supposedly to use some rubbing alcohol to loosen the glue. The IS really is unscratchable. I can pas a key all over my Zen's screen and nothing happens. The only time that it might mess up is during installation. Sometimes you want to get it perfect and some people have had problems installing leaving a moderately sized bubble there when installing. The good thing about Invisible Shield though is they have a lifetime warranty. You send them the old one (no matter how bad of condition) and they'll send you a new one. Just be as careful as you can when installing. They'll want you to moisten the IS not soak it. Then you'll lay it over the device and use a credit card to push out all the bubbles and imperfections. If any small minute bubbles are left then they usually disappear over time. It really is a pretty ingenious idea.
