Tungsten T5 Phonelink Updater

Does anyone know if there is a way to update the phonelink list on the t5. The most recent updater on Palm's website is from '05. There are a TON of phones that aren't on that list. I'd like to be able to dial my Samsung Sync from my palm, etc. Thanks. :confused:

I was about to post the same question.
I want to use my BlackBerry Pearl as a modem to access the net, etc on my T5 and I don't know how to update the phonelink list.
Any ideas???????

Oh, I have an idea. We could hang out outside the CEO of Palm's house and pester him to offer support for palm devices other than Treos......never mind. :rolleyes:

I hate this problem too.

I have a Sony Ericsson W800i which isn't on the list. Luckily older SE devices are. The T5 is able to communicate with the newer phone using older profiles. I guess the phone manufacturers don't change their communication protocols too often. Try selecting an older model from the same manufacturer and see if you can communicate from T5 to your phone ok.

Problem is, there's NO samsung phone on the list. So, unless the samsungs use the same profile as another manufacturer, I guess I'm out of luck. (Unless someone on this forum has a solution :D )

Are you using a GSM phone? If so, there's a 'standard GSM' profile you may be able to use...

I tried this as my BlackBerry is a GSM Pearl and it wont work!
I need the bloody phone drivers!!!!!!!!

Perhaps contact Blackberry on the lacking support from Palm, see what they suggest?
