I didn't realize they only officially state they support regular SD. I did hear over and over again while I was there, that they were saying that it supports up to 4gb SD cards.

Well as long as the SDHC works unofficially ..... :) I remember it took Palm a while to admit the SDHC was working on the newer treos so "playing it safe" from them should come as no surprise.

The Foleo documentation that I've seen, the Foleo will support SD/MMC cards, CF cards, and USB flash drives. The documentation is not complete, and no max sizes are listed. Elsewhere, I've read the CF cards are good for 4GB, SD up to 2GB.

Were you able to determine if the Foleo will only sync with Versamail? Can you sync with ChatterEmail or Snappermail? I saw a preview of Veramail4, which to my knowledge will be required to sync with the Foleo- and that is why it is delayed. They are having problems syncing Versamail with other handhelds besides the Windows Mobile devices and the 755p.

As far as I know when the Foleo ships, it will only synchronize email with VersaMail. ChatterMail is no longer a going issue as Palm has purchased the entire company. Any further development of ChatterMail's code base will likely be added to VersaMail going forward. That leaves SnapperMail and I an not aware of any active development going on for that product.

I can't comment on VersaMail 4.0.

When I was in SFO last week, I stopped by the Palm store in the mall and the manager had it on his Treo 680. He said the engineers installed it for the Foleo preview at his store.

I looks the same except for when you retrieve email, the progress bar is gone and is replaced by a swirling blue beach-ball in the bottom right to indicate that mail is being received. Also there is an activity log that has a history of your connections to the server and their status. Other than that, I did not notice much.
