I wish to deactivate the internal Ram-Drive as found on the T5 because:
NVBackup cant do an backup on this drive.
The content is deleted on Hardreset.
Anyway it is too small.
It will be better to get an bigger storage heap.
Any possibility to do this ?

When I spoke to Dmitry about this 6 months ago he told me that it could be done, but he didn't have the time or resources (a T5) to impliment it. :-(

Sending a T5 from Germany to USA is'nt very recommended i think.
Although the T5 came from USA (purchased as secound hand over an online broker)
But i would support this work with 50$
Anyone else ?

i wasn't serious, i was just point out the ability to do so.
The time to actually do it is likely over what i'd be willing to spend on this.

So there is no interest at all on your side.

My solution was to put it to the back of my mind and add it to the reasons to get a TX or hopefully TX|2

Agreed, but one can hope. I don't think they have completely abandoned handhelds, but will only release a new one every couple of years... there are many users who cannot have Treo's in their line of work due to the camera (non-camera versions available) and mobile radio. This, as well as personal preference is why there will still be a market for handhelds...and I think Palm will provide. I see the next handheld they release to come shortly after the first Palm OS II Treo, and it will feature Palm OS II.
But maybe I'm waaaaaaaay off! :)

But maybe I'm waaaaaaaay off! :)I do hope you are right. I have had a couple of Treos an finally realized they just are very good phones, at least for me. So, I'm back into the Tx and added a Motorola Razr 3, which is more to my liking.

When you say "mobile radio" which are you referring to... bluetooth, WiFi or cellular phone? The TX has two of the above.

Cellular radio... usually bluetooth or WiFi are ok, but because of the higher power used in a cellular radio places like hospitals etc. do not allow their use.
