Thanks for the few who responded to my few questions about NX from overstock.com a couple of days ago.

Just like to see how many others got theirs from the same place.

Kindly post your level of satisfaction for the NX you received and whether the NX is a refubisehd or brand new unit.

Did you purchase their extended warranty service? If so, what information might you have (aside from overstocks's listing) in supporting your decision?

I'm one. I bought it based on the other thread where people said they received new ones. With the additional 10% link that was posted, I couldn't pass it up. Mine is new.

I got the overstock one, couldn't turn down the deal and it was new to boot. The only thing that dulled the experience is they sent me the wrong docs and CD. I am still waiting to hear from them on how we will rectify this but can't beat the deal.

I also got my NX70v from Overstock.com with a non-refurbished serial number...

As to whether I'm happy or not...... ABSOLUTELY!!! I love my new NX. ;)

Got me (new - non-refurb at refurb price!) a NX70V/UH... yep the gunmetal one. Last one they had at the time I ordered. :D

I'm loving my overstock.com NX70, also used ebates for the purchase, so got 4% back on it. It is refurb and the shipping took a while longer than I would have liked, but it works perfectly.

Very happy with my NX-70V from overstock w/ 10% discount. Looks new, the serial number is new. No problems. Shipping was perceived to be a bit slow only because of my anticipation, but I did order the cheapskate special ($2.95) which means ya gotta wait for the truck to fill up before the drive it from Ogden, UT to OHIO. Still, only took a week. Now I hear that a new model is coming out...

I got mine there about 3 weeks ago, it does have a refurbished sticker on it but I did register it with the serial number as new even tough the documentation suggested not to.... unit looks like new every thing is ok.... it came with out the original box and the battery was completely empty.... Was a bit uptset after I saw it since I bought it based on this forum chats about the new item at overstock, but I am still not sure of the real status of the device after 3 weeks... so I am happy...I guess.... Just wanted to warn you...

got mine too with the 10% off $399.. sweet deal.. a little scratch on the screen, probably not "brand" new, but new enuff for $362.. oh and it came pretty fast too (< 1 week with cheapest shipping). i'm happy :)

got mine on apr 25th. i should mention that i was able to register it as a new unit (s/n starts with 4, not 9), and get the 25% coupon as well (tho it was useless as the accessories were bl**dy expensive on sonystyle...)

I am happy now with my new NX70, although the first unit that I received, in new condition, kept locking up and had to be reset all of the time. Overstock was willing to replace it without any restocking fee or shipping costs. Replacement was also new. Shipping did take a week each way, but the price was right and now I am a satisfied customer, thanks to the members here.

Received it today...10 days from order to my front door. Not bad.

My unit has a 4xxxxxxx serial number and looks untouched, but it had a screen protector on it, the time was set (PDT), and it was 55% charged. The manula looks like someone had been using it underneath something they were writing on. Whatever. For $362 it looks brand new, will register brand new, and I am happy.

Mine came with all of the above. The only thing that was different was that it came in a big brown box with a giant "REFURBISHED" sticker on it. Didn't bother me though since it was new (serial # registered and everything) and it was gunmetal grey... can't beat that. :D
