Audio Player mal-functioning!

Hi,

I love my mp3s...but recently, my audio player freezes up after a while! I mean, the music is playing but i'm unable to use the remote, nor switch on the clie to switch off the player! The HOLD button is definitely not on..so i dunno what's the problem! Now everytime after i play some mp3s and wanna switch it off, i need to do a soft reset...anybody can help???? Thanks!

Howdy. I have noticed that just recently the reomote stop responding after a period of time. Still able to access via the screen. Its very annoying !:(

does anybody else have this problem? Cos my bf is using nr too and he has no such problems with it....

hmm...sometimes happens to mine, more often when i'm trying to start it w/ the remote when the clie is off.

What period of time are we talking of here before the 'freeze'? I use the Audioplayer daily for periods of around 1-2 hrs continuous and so far have not had problems. Typically I flick the hold switch on first then use the player (to save battery usage).

I notice that there is sometimes a small delay when pressing stop on the remote and the unit powering down.

Currently I have an NX70, previously an N760. so far, so good.

There is a known issue with the MS slot found in the NR70 series.
Try to push it on the back of the clie (above the reset hole, near the "C" of "CLI'E".

this isn't related to the MS slot issue (which must have been fixed in devices sold in August because I have never had that problem and I use my keyboard constantly).

I occasionally have this issue. I use my Audioplayer almost exclusively for listening CNET Radio Direct or music on my way to and from work. I use the remote of course to control the player while on route (I commute by bike). Lately, about once a week or so, the audio player just goes on frozen mode. It keeps playing like nothing is happening but the remote stops working and I can't turn it off or bring the screen back from hold. I soft reset and everything is okay.

This is the exact problem i was refering to! How psycho is the clie?? hmm, its really very irritating thou, cos i usually listen to music very loud and there i was, tryin to switch off the clie while everyone around me was looking at me like i was an idiot......damn

You guys are getting me worried. I keep waiting to get the same problem. Is it limited to the NR, or are N, NX and NZ users also getting this?

i'm using a NR...... dun b paranoid!! u might not get the same problem!!
