CorePlayer vs. TCPMP

I know that CorePlayer 1.0 was reputed to be not as good as TCPMP in respect of quality of playback (jumpy, etc.) Has this been fixed in 1.1?

I honestly haven't noticed any playback issues for a while now. And it may just be me, but XviD ASD releases of BattleStar Galactica look less blocky in CorePlayer v1.1.1 than in TCPMP.
