CF card effects on battery life

Has anyone noticed any decrease in the battery life of their Clie units using the CF flash card? I was wondering if that type of card had a higher drain that the MS, and what effect that had on the units.

Actually my SanDisk uses less power than my memory stick. Some use more.

I also went to the various sites and looked up the specs and compared to the memory stick's 47 milliamp current draw. Of course, when these cards are not in use, they go into a sleep mode.

My 1 GB Sandisk also uses less battery life when playing MP3s as compared to my 128 MB MS. (uses a little more than half the battery life for the same playing time)
