I wonder why iTunes can't download this episode. I kept clicking "update" but all there is is Podcast 139...

Wonder if it's a server problem, or my version of iTunes has a bug.

I double-checked the podcast link (http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3?http://www.1src.com/podcasts/1srcpodcast140.mp3) that I submit to the 1SRC server when I post the show. When I paste it into my browser the show starts to download and play. So I know the .mp3 file is good and so is the URL.

I'll do some more poking around.

My iTunes is also not downloading the podcast, but I think it's iTunes' fault. When I updated to iTunes 7.3 it broke my iTunes library, and I haven't been able to download it since. I have updated to 7.3.2, but I'm probably going to have to remove and then re-add 1src.

Something's definitely not right with iTunes. I unsubscribed from the podcast, then tried to add the RSS feed back manually, but iTunes doesn't find any podcasts there. Then I tried subscribing direct from the iTunes store but 1Src never shows up in the podcast library.

I have received reports from people who use other podcast catchers and they are reporting that 140 downloaded without issue. I've alerted Reggie to the problem as I can't take this issue any farther than I already have.

From all the posts here, I'd guess there really is a problem with iTunes.

First of all, my iTunes is ver 7.2, as I don't have an iPhone, I don't see any reason for me to update to the latest. So it's not a version problem.

Then it must be a iTMS problem. I can listen to podcast 140 directly from the music store, but my iTunes never wanted to download it.

On the podcast it self, thanks for the tip on the Brighthand TX LCD thread, it really was an interesting read.

By the way, I wonder why no one here is talking about the "Treo 800" pictures leaked on PIC. I don't like the new look, maybe won't buy it, but really found reading all the "Treo bashing" over there, entertaining :) Maybe this should go into the next podcast.

As far as I know, the 1SRC podcast is still a family oriented podcast and I don't carry an explicit rating. LOL That said, I did try to add the 1SRC podcast to the latest iTunes version on my work issued computer and I got the same thing - the podcast feed is empty.

I'm glad you liked the TX thread. As for the Treo rumors, I'll be talking more about that this week. That is if Palm doesn't pull the plug on me. LOL

iTunes finally sorted itself out and found all the 1src podcasts again, including #140.
