Do I need to update my TX with this new Palm OS Java Vitural Manager? What does this update do?

Hi:

I posted this a couple of days ago:

On Brighthand there's a forum with some comments on the new Palm Java. It apparently doesn't work too well with the T/X but perhaps some mix and matching might be possible.

Here's the forum:

I'm not brave enough to try it out and it appears no else is inclined to go through the hassle.

Thanks,

Tom

FOR TX USERS:

If you intalled previous versions and had problems:

UNLOCK (with Rlock) all J9*.* files that you see
Uninstall, with Uninstall Manager, IBM JVM

Now make a clean install:

Disable all hacks and backgroud apps (Softick Cache, OnTop, etc)
HotSync all the ARM4T PRC files for your language AND JSR 172 Web Services, JSR75 NO.

Now open the aplication (need work)
Soft reset your palm
Install JSR75 your language

its done !

You will only need to install Java if some app request (like Opera browser)
