No. Apparently Memorystick, Magicgate and Magicgate Pro are three different technologies...

IMHO there are five different types available:

Memory Stick (8,16,32,64,128)
Memory Stick MagicGate
Memory Stick DUO
Memory Stick Select (128*2)
Memory Stick PRO MagicGate (256,512,1024)

TG50 can use Memory Stick DUO ?

I have seen DUO has CF memory adapter which can used as Compact flash memory.

Yeah, there's no such thing as Magic Gate PRO. There is only Memory Stick PRO, which is Magic Gate compatible.

You can use the DUO if you have the adapter that essentially makes it into a regular Memory Stick.
