Battery Life of the NX Series

Hi, I'm looking forward to buy an NX70V soon. Could you please tell me a good web site to go and get it at a low price. And also I would like to know how long does the battery last on 1 charge. How long does it last with the screen off playing MP3 and so on.

re: Price----If you bought it today you could have saved 10% off all handhelds and you can use an extra 5% coupon to total 15% off (510$U.S.) at dell home and home office website. Some of us here bought it preorder/prerelease from Dell for 20% off back in October, but it was a hassle finally getting it. But, 485$ for a 600$ product was worth the hassle. Plus, I have a 30$ rebate because of another Sony product I bought. Shop around before you buy. You may want to check out bargainpda.com or techbargains.com before you buy.

P.S. I have been impressed by the battery thus far. Good usage time (i.e., 2-3 days between charge). However, since you will sync it everyday (in most cases, then you will also find yourself charging it everday--so no worries :)

word processing and synced web page browsing (iSilo) about 4hours on maximum brightness, probably 7 on 1/3. These are just educated estimates based on my use so far.

As long as your charge every day, the battery life is real good. I use my NX alot and I have never had to worry about the battery. Might be a problem if you are playing movies and MP3's alot though, as they drain the battery faster.

Well, I have used my NX70 (reading Ebooks with Palmreader) with the settings below, and it lasted for almost 8 hours :

1. Brightness at 1/3.
2. System sounds disabled.
3. Game sounds at about 75%.
4. No WIFI card.
5. Ebooks on memory stick only.

I'm pretty happy with the battery life, since I normally charge everyday anyway.

I concur... I was TAKING notes for about a whopping 6-7 hrs... at 1/3 brightness... CHARGE every day (as I do) and you really should have no problem.

I got mine from EBAY and was pretty happy that i got a 128MB MS (OMG it's been GREAT!!! All those photos :D )

I would recommend for comparison's sake: ebay & yahoo shopping... I Was finding some for $505 grey model... I would say wait just a little longer AND the price will drop :( due to the NEW releases)
