How to safely move Docs to Go to MS

Hi people! Can it be done via Powerrun?? I am a bit aprehensive about doing so if the app or the docs could be damaged in some way.

I have Docs to Go loading with PowerRun, I have NOT tried syncing it though. Normally you need the one Docs to Go file in RAM for it to HotSync. I was thinking about dumping Docs to Go anyway, since the spreadsheets are only needed for viewing and I got RepliGo, plus Wordsmith for editing Documents.

How do I move the Documents To Go handheld applications to my Expansion Card?

Answer:
(Note: To Move the handheld applications to the expansion card, you must first copy the applications to the expansion card and then delete the handheld applications from the handheld)

On your handheld, tap on Home (The house in the bottom left hand corner).
Tap the drop down "Menu" icon and select "copy" from the "App" menu.
Highlight the Documents To Go handheld application that you wish to copy to your Expansion Card (such as Word To Go, Sheet To Go, Slideshow To Go, SheetView or WordView). Please note, you can not copy the main "Documents" application to the expansion card.
Select the appropriate Copy To: and From: locations and tap copy.
Repeat these steps for any other handheld application you wish to copy to the expansion card.
Please note: The above steps copied the application from the handheld to the Expansion Card. To delete the application from the handheld, do the following:

On your handheld, tap on Home.
Tap the drop down "Menu" icon and select "Delete".
Choose the option to Delete From "Handheld".
Highlight the application you wish to delete and tap the "Delete" button.
Please note: If the handheld applications have been moved to the expansion card and the card is removed, during the next synchronization Documents To Go will reinstall the handheld applications to the handheld.

I have just been talking to the Tech Supt at Dataviz and going thru the list of issues I had been encountering. It may be useful for other people as to what I have found.

- Dataviz Email and Word to Go will not work if the latter is on MS (it will give an error when you click on any Word attachment in the Email application - Viewer Not Installed etc.) I explained that I was not having this problem with Sheet to GO and Slideshow to Go attachments. Tech Supt are not sure as to why this is working!

If you want to read a Word attachment Word to Go must reside in RAM. Datavix Email can only run in RAM.

- If you want to add an attachment (Word or spreadsheet to Presentation etc.), then the documents must reside in RAM as well else the attachment function in Dataviz Email will show no files!

- There is no parameter to select the Category where the documents should go (I wanted to send them to Card rather than Unfiled)

- There is no HTML support

These requirements have been added to the Wish list but not sure when they will be actioned.

I see that some people have got Word to Go and Pics to GO to RAM - did you get any of these problmes?
