I wish to know pl if while listening to Audio Player and I happen to fall asleep will the TH55 auto switch off when the battery power runs low. Or will it continue to play till power is completely drained to cause a loss of data.
Thanks very much.

I don't think that auto-off will work with AP playing. Pocket Tunes has a setting where you can tell it to shut off after an set period, but I don't think AP does.

Click on the battery icon at the bottom of the TH55's home screen, and then click on the "Limits" button, it says the TH55 will shut off Audio Player when the battery level hits 15%. The TH55 will subsequently do an Auto-off after the time you specified in Prefs.

(Unless you have another app also running along with AudioPlayer that uses wireless or the MS slot, in which case that app will run the battery to 10% before you go into the subsequent Auto-off timer.)

If I recall my experience with the Sony Audio Player (on the TG50 and the UX40), your device should also power-off automatically when Audio Player stops playing. So, if you want to fall asleep to it, just make sure that the repeat functionality is turned off. This way, once the play list ends, the device will stop playing, and then power itself off after the timeout occurs. If you're not sure, just give it a try by playing the last song on your play list and letting it end. And then wait to confirm if it powers off.

At least this way, your battery won't have to rundown as much until it powers off.
