Is a gunmetal NX70V worth $437 ?

I appreciate any insight anyboy has on this question. Since I am deciding if I should keep my Zire 71 or buy a gunmetal NX70V.

I bought a NX70v from Best Buy for 500 and I love it, it is faster, has a bigger screen, and debatably better camera, and the form factor is like having a built in case. I would say that it is totally worth it for that price... the gunmetal color is awesome.

When you can get the regular one for $362... I guess you better really like the gunmetal to pay that much more. Just my 2 cents.

i paided the lowest price at the time when i got my NX and it was gunmetal so i don't think its worth the extra $

When I got mine. Gun metal was the only color I saw. But I love my NX70. This is my 3rd Clie upgrade and after my slideshow and photo alblum that I put together from my vacation, I don't think I'd ever go w/ a different brand. Even my "die hard" Palm friends are switching and it's become the PDA purchased for the managers at my office.

I guess its really up to your personal preference. The gun metal was somewhat of a limited edition nx and it breaks away from the standard silver PDAs and cellphones we see everywhere. I got mine for a little more than a silver one but have no regrets, except that maybe its a little harder to hide scratches?

if they showed a pic of silver then its prolly silver (even though mine turned out to be gunmetal with a silver pic on the webpage) i am sure you could email the sites support and ask them

Gunmetal NX70 rules. Definately worth getting... although with new NX model to be released soon maybe you should wait.

reasons to wait:

1. more internal memory at least 32 MB maybe 64 MB
2. MS pro drivers in ROM so that MS backup can be run straight from MS pro.

reason to get:

1. Probably the best looking palm device out there in my opinion.
2. Price drops recently have made this a virtual steal.

Gunmetal and Silver are the same exact thing, the only difference, obviously is color. If you like the gunmetal color get it. Your probably not gonna find a new one, they dont make it any more, you might find them at overstock sites or somewhere, but i would be careful when purchasing.

thanks for all the replies, I've decided to stay with my Zire 71 since it was at least $150.00 cheaper and much more pocketable than gunmetal NX70v
