Memory Stick Isuue

Was going through the NX yesterday and deleting some apps not using no more. I deleted CF Util on accident and reinstalled it later. Now for some reason my MS does not show any of the files. It shows the space is being used but not showing any files. I went and purchased a memory stick card reader and y=it shows the same thing Memory Used but no files. I can save stuff on stick and they appear now but all the old stuff on there is no showing. Before I format and start reinstalling.... any ideas.

It is a Sony MS.

Do you have Scandisk or Norton's Disk Doctor? Used these two many times before on flash cards. Please don't write anything to the stick
