PhoneDisconnect 2.4 now with 7 days trial

Hi all,

I just wanted to inform you about the last PhoneDisconnect update, which brings now a 7 days trial, in which you can test all possible customizations. After this trial period is over PhoneDisconnect limits itself to the basic functions.
So, if you ever wanted to try the extended SMS or missed call reminder settings, you can do now.
Another thing: maybe you live in a region where your Treo is forced to roaming even if your home provider network is available. The latest PhoneDisconnect has access to the roaming prefs and you could try to disable roaming.

I downloaded PD v2.4, and had the same problem as did italiangspot back on April 13, 07.

It adds about a full second to the turn on when pressing the power button.

I tried the version that solved IGS's problem, but my 755p is not recognized as a "Treo" with a phone by that version 2.3.

Can you resolve this?

Also, I just wanted to suggest this app would be better placed in Pref's than under the apps. Just my opinion.

Hmm. I deleted the app - which of course caused a soft reset.
Still was slow - a little faster, but slow, turning on.
Installing the PD linked above >might< be a bit faster than before, but that might be wishful thinking.
At least it is recognizes the 755p!
I now have a couple of PhoneDisconnect (and 2LaunchMe too) apps with the same "version" number, but they are different.
