I am attempting to play a protected WMA file using Pocket Tunes 4.0.2 Deluxe. I used the LifeDrive Manager to transfer the file rather that syncing with Windows Media Player. When I attempt to play the song using pTunes, I receive the error message, "Could not find a license for this file. You may need to refresh your licenses by connecting to your PC and running your music provider's application. You may also need to copy the song to your device again." I've tried copying the song again, but this hasn't solved the problem. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Burn the WMAs to a CD, unprotected, and re-rip them to your hard drive in whatever format you prefer. The idea is to bypass the copy protection from the original files. While this process will reduce audio quality to some degree, it also allows you to use music you may have paid for anyway you wish.
