Hi everyone. I discovered another problem with the watch:
the usb mini jack isn't very durable. Mine first began to only chare the battery, when pluged in an hold with constant tension and then doesn't chare at all.
I replaced the circute board with my spare watch and it worked. Next step is trying to replace the usb jack (very small soldering pads !!)

Interesting. I haven't experienced it yet. All works fine on my Abacus. Glad you are here to share your experience with us.

I made a bit progress in this:
Tha USB jack is assambled this way: inside sits a little piece of plastic, which holds the connector pins and these pins end in soldering lugs. This is surropunded by a metal shield.
The problem is, that the shield and the platic aren't fixed/glues together. So the plastic/connectorpins are only fixed by the 5 small solded lugs. And these lugs can't hold the forces (from un-/plugging the USB cable) very long.
Mine where broken all, which I discovert while removing the shield of the defective jack.
The replacement pars I bought have little pins on the bottom side to be plugged inside holes on the circut board. Unfotunatelly the board hasn't these holes, so I think I will glue the connector to the board an then solder it in.
(will attach pictures later if I find the time...

Wow. Mine hasn't broken yet, but I'll definitely be more cautious with it now. O_O

perhaps it's an idea to let some superglue flow between the jack and the circute board.

I suspect, that the forces of plugging/unplugging the watch is the main problem...
