Speed of MP3 transfer to CF

Is it just me or does it take bloody ages to do it?

I am transfering normal MP3s (ripped from CD) onto my NZ-90. I am using Hotsync to get them onto the CLie as I couldn't do it through MS Export / Import.

I don't have any problems playing back the MP3s when they eventually arrive on the CLie ... it just takes SOOOOooo long to do it.

Is there an easier way? WOuld it be easier to buy a CF reader and do it that way?

I only really plan to use the CF for MP3s ... other apps can run off the 128 mb MS, which is enough for me ...

Yes, it does take bloody ages transferring or hotsyncing them.

Yes, a card reader will definitel speed tihngs up, besides they are handy to have around
