I have figured out how to make a VG, 320x480, non-clamshell device. You actually already have one in your lap you just need to "put it together."

1. Take a NX
2. Remove CF
3. Remove camera
4. Open and swivel to tablet mode
5. Have designers remove keyboard and hard ware buttons on bottom half
6. Remove hinge
6. Have designers remove the casing between the to two clam halves
7. Fuse the two together
8. Add hard buttons to bottom
Voila!

Think about it. Take out all the above and put it back together and it seems do-able.

Does anybody else see how this will or will not work.

who said it wasn't do-able? Just because something is do-able doesn't mean that it has to be done.

Look at the hp1910, that just proves that anything is do-able. I know the resolution is only 320 x240, but that screen is Big and gorgeous and the unit is thin and 200Mhz.

Many people already are waiting for some sort of virtual graffiti hi-res+ non-clamshell model from sony to come out. =(
