Many new users ask for transferring files like MP3's or movies or apps to the memorystick.
It is all about MsImport. You need to install the drivers in Win9X, WinME, WIn2k. WinXP does have them already. Put your Clié in the cradle and start MsImport(PDA). Now there will be a new drive(PC) with some folders. You copy or place the files in the the appropriate folder:
MP3: Palm/MSAudio
converted Movies: MQRoot/100MQV01/ rename them starting by one MOV00001.MQV
native MPEG movies: /MSSony/MOML0001 rename them starting by one MOV00001.MPG (not all play)
Pictures: DCIM/101MSDCF
Flash: Palm/MMFlash
MSBackup: Palm/MSBackup
If you can not find the folder start the application first and it will be created. Or make it yourself. You can use the search function for various reasons..
There are many folders out there (for AcidImage, DocsToGo or...).
Maybe other users want to add these folders so we have a complete list???

Y0p,
Read line 2 a little closer. WinXP already has the driver so MSImport will work fine on XP. You don't need to install an older operating system.

For some (unknown) reasons...
I thought I had read "does *not* have them already" ...

Sorry!
So that's great!
thanks
