Send them (ZZtechs) an email and it will probably be on the next version "next week" ;)

If you haven't noticed they put out an updated version as often as most of us put gas in our cars.

Thanks jiserab.
So they update the version pretty often?

The icon sets come with the program file in the IconSet directory of the archive. Some 3rd-party skins like CopperDeckII come with their own icon files.

I don't have the icon files in my CDII download. Do you know where one might be? I got mine from the newest version at palmgear.

Tixx,

The icons file starts with ZLI. The Copperdeck icons I have are virtually identical to the Palm OS5 icon set. Could be they no longer bundle them, since they are generally available.

Thanks:) I thought that he drew his own to match the theme.

I agree with aaronkelly, you'd be better off resizing it. If it a jpeg, the zlauncher background file will be approximately 6 times the size of the jpeg (eating RAM), so even if ZLauncher can handle it, why would you want to?

He did tailor them to the theme. Mine came in the CDIIv275.zip file from a previous version. If you don't have that one, drop me an email and I'll send it to you.

Wierd. Try renaming it to a zip file and see if you can open it. If not, I'll resend.

Hey TB! I don't know which file has the CDII like replacement icons in it. I tried them all except the bmp files and only found one with OS5 like replacement Icons:confused:

It's the ZLI-Len-CopperDeckII_v2.65.prc file. All you see on the surface are the OS 5 app icons. But, if you go into the file manager or select the MS tab, you'll see the app and folder icons match the rest of CDII. The icon file covers icons throughout ZL.

I now see what you mean:) I wish there were icons to replacements in the CDII theme to replace the built in apps too.

Hmm, must be the same CopperDeck Icon set I have. I noticed the file size was about 25k larger than the Palm OS5 icon set, but the only icons I could see with the preview were the Palm OS5 icons. Sorry for misleading you Tixx.

Well I don't think you mislead me really and that extra 25k is what made a difference. It is just too bad there are no built in app icons rather than OS 5 icons in that file. I do like the additions though:)

I only discovered the true extent of the icons in CDII after playing with other skins and simultaneously testing the file manager. That extra 25K always had me puzzled until then. It's a real credit to Len that he went to that level of detail in CDII. Most other skins just borrow their icons throughout the skins from Aquawood.

Tixx, you can use AppIcon to assign the few CD specific icons to apps, there aren't very many of them. I just tried it and it worked.
