Zlauncher 2.21 Hangs when Memory Stick is reinserted..

People,

Is anyone also using ZLauncher 2.21 (CopperdeckII theme) with the NX70, like me? I just found a problem with the app (still on trial mode) :

1. Pull out the memory stick.
2. Wait 5-10 secs, reinsert it.
3. ZLauncher hangs. Soft reset needed.

Found a workaround though - enable the 'Auto Sync /Palm/Launcher' option, the problem goes away.. but everytime I exit an app, there is a 1 sec delay with the 'Please Wait' display on screen before ZLauncher appears...

Maybe I should send a mail to the ZZTECH people..

yah, it's deffinately a bug, cause it happens to me too.

Seems to work fine on my NR with AutoSync/Palm/Launcher disabled. May be a NX issue. I'm using the default Aquawood theme.

My unit does not hang and I am also using CDII, but it does mess up my Icons. When Auto Sync is on, then there is no problem.

It'll probably take ZZ Tech 30 seconds to fix:D!

Hope I'm not "speaking too soon" here, but I'm not seeing any issues with this. I'm also looking at the trial of ZL (working on a skin now) and just tried this. I have many apps on my stick with PiDirect II. I receive the disable / enable messages for PiD when I remove / insert the stick, but no issues with ZL (I even launched one of the apps in PiD that "toggles" with the removal of the stick).

Maybe just NX (OS5) related?????

Any TT people with the same issue?

could it be beacuse of Powerrun?----I use this along with Zlauncher

Disable PowerRun then try the same procedure.

If PR has disable settings, you may want to check them out.

Also, try the same thing in the default launcher. See if the issue remains when not in ZL.

I don't use PowerRun, but I have had the same problem. Every time I switch Memory Sticks, ZLauncher hangs. I have only noticed this in the latest version of ZLauncher. Where is the next version. It's been over a week! Whats going on?:)

No problems now, with Zlauncher 2.22B3 build 030123 - with the auto sync /Palm/Launcher option turned off, it doesn't hang when I eject the memory stick and reinsert it.. Yahoo..

These guys definitely deserve my hard earned money... :-) buying it very very soon..

Yeah, these guys are good! I had LauncherX before this (paid good money for it, damn), but it's been more than a month and I don't see any new updates or improvements..

Fileman, on the other hand, has jumped from 2.11 to 2.2 since I bought it (upgrade was free), and Worldmate has also moved on to 9.1..

I also have a new beta version of Wassup 1.3.2, which works great on my NX - thanks to the guys at PocketScience..
