I just bought the Bluetooth memory stick. Loaded all the software and drivers fine. And I get an eror message saying com port 1 is not available. My sj33 will see my computer and my computer sees my pda. I enter the code on the clie. All seems to be cool then I can't connect. Using Microsft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Please help. Hotsync is open on the task bar and Local USB, Local Serial and Modem are cheked. I unchecked serial and it still seems to seize my com ports. I have the same Identical problem when I try on my laptop.

Hi CivicSI
I was just browsing through the NR series Forum threads and came across the same discussion as I have been pulling my hair out because of the same problem(except in my case COM port 4 seems to be the offending port).
Someone has reported on that thread that you have to uninstall the Hotsync and the Bluetooth software and then re-install it. This appears to be the ready solution to most evils (Un-install-Re-install) but I have spent nearly all day un-installing Microsoft Office, Psiwin for Psion (which I felt was the most likely cause of the problem-it wasn't) and trying to meddle with device drivers etc.
I'll leave the rest till tomorrow but if you find a solution please let me know. You are not alone.

Bad news I'm afraid... unless there are BT services setup for the dvice, you can't do anything. Untill someone writes a BT "Stack" for the Microsoft BT keyboard in Palm OS....Sorry.

Hi Phydeaux III
Sorry I didn't quite get that.
The BT Memory stick I bought didn't mention anything about a Microsoft BT keyboard and anyway I thought BT is supposed to work with a whole host of devices although I am aware (fortunately before I spent any more money) that all BT platforms don't necessarily talk to each other.
I am a bit put out though that the BT/Sync software on a Sony Clie cannot seem to work seamlessly with the systems on a Sony PCG-C1MHP which comes with a Bluetooth module installed.
Surely it would constitute a violation of the Trades Description Act (in the UK) if it will not work.
I hope there is a simple solution to this problem or Bluetooth might find himself toothless very soon
