Hi NXers! I just dowloaded ThinFont Fix 1.0b3, and when I click on the FIX button, akk I get is a continuous (sp?) beep sound, and a frozen NX. After I do a soft reset, the NX works fine, but no fixed fonts appear. Is it that it's NOT OS5 compatible?? The web site is not clear about it, just that it supports HiRes (no mention of HiRes+ either).
Thanks!

I'll chime in... fonts4nx has been on my unit for a long time. I can't remember what it looked like without it. Excellent app!

You know, a good, general rule of thumb . . . if a program doesn't SPECIFICALLY say it's compatable with Sony OS5, chances are good it is NOT.
I'm guessing you're new to the NX, and there are LOTS of programs that do not work with the NX. If you have a question about an app you want to use, ask here, or better yet, ask the developer. Even if it's not, they'll know somebody WISHES it was . . . and the more that we request apps be OS5 capable, the better off we all will be in the long run.
AND, I agree with rhart00's suggestion completely. Fonts4NX is a wonderful app!

Thin Font Fix was one of the first things I tried adding, day 1 with my NX. I didn't even think about compatibility. Scared the hooie out of myself (same results as Guatiao) and didn't try again!
I'm going to check out Fonts4NX!

Yes indeed, I *am* new to the NX!! Just got it last Saturday! My upgrade from an SJ30, which worked great.
I am aware about compatibility issues, but since the website did not specify if OS5 was or not supported, I decided to give it a try.
I will install Fonts4NX as soon as I post this message.
Thanks!!!
