Recently, I realized the ZL battery indicator is not that accurate, or is there a problem with my battery?

I left my clie on the cradle to charge overnight, when I woke up I saw the orange light was off. When I turned it on, I saw the indicator showing a 92% charged! Then I tapped on it - switching from percentage to voltage... the number gradually increased to about 96%... weird..

I remember that when I first installed ZL not too long ago and had the battery fully charged, it showed me a 4.24 V. Until recently, I found that even the battery is fully charged, it doesn't show a 4.24 V, sometimes it's 4.00v and increased to 4.16 v after I tapped on the indicator!

So, is my battery dying?? I own this T665 for only a month!

Anybody has this kind of experience??

I have the same problem. One month with my T665, Zlauncher installed, and a very crazy battery indicator.

Sometimes, fully charged battery indicates 4.24v, sometimes 4.20v. In both cases, drops quickly to 4.16v. When reaches 3.92v, the indicator already shows 100%!

If don’t know if Zlauncher is the problem. I installed several battery monitors with the same results.

I’m learning to live with that, and don’t worry too much about the battery performance.

Try a hard reset. This fixed my battery problem. When I bought it (about 10 months ago) my battery charged to 4.27V. Two weeks or so ago, I realized it was only charging to 4.15 or 4.23. It was also draining a bit faster than norma. I was concerned about battery degredation (which it still could be), but the hard reset seems to have fixed the problem. So far so good.

... and the voltage actually doesn't equal to the percentage!
It could show me a 3.76v but a 63%

How do I backup all the programs/softwares before I do a hard reset?? sorry but I am new to the handheld world.

Actually, any voltage above 3.92 will show a 100% charge. Try checking your battery with the indicator in the regular launcher that came with your Clie.

Your programs are backed up evertime you do a hotsync. ALso, fo to Palmgear.com and search for a program called syncall. This will insure all your databases are backed up when you hotsync.
