The whole thing is a big tantalizing joke. How did Clieplanet let that one slip through?
I must admit that it had me fooled for a bit too until I clicked on add to cart.

Sorry for the commotion...that was me...

I originally posted the pic here in the General discussions regarding a T665 replacement, then entered it into the clieplanet contest for a dream Clie (being realistic).

Apparently, I should have waited until April 1st :D

To be fair, Clieplanet did say on the page that it was a contest entry :)

But placing it on a main page of a well respected site?

I have No comments. Got a bit disappointed though.

Yeah YOU Bionic Antboy....!!! I thought Sony answer my prayer for a moment till I read the site on the 2nd time and found those fine print....Well I know it's not your fault...but good creative thinking. I use T68i and love the joystick.

I have used a t68 and I hated the joystick, it just got too flimsy... I hope sony doesn't add the same joystick on a clie...the way I play games I would break that joystick easily.

Hope we can get a 4-way navigational keypad though...

Clieplanet,

Can we put it on a regular thread on your site? I mean, (pause, sigh) please.

It's up to you, clieplanet. It's just too good to be true. I admit.

Cheers!

Send it to Sony, Send it to Sony!!
Tell them: Here this is a PDA we want and now fire your R&D guys and produce it!

Ya, tsuribito has got the right idea here! Sony since you are so slow to give us what we want we thought we would design one for you, now JUST BUILD THE DANG THING! Stop dragging your feet and giving us a bunch of crap. First you give us a over priced, not that inpresive thing that is bigger than my wife's back side, then you give us this piece of plastic and hint that you may kill off the T series. If you kill the T series I am SOOO done with Sony.

Hehe I got all excited wondering if it was going to have a voice recorder too.

Bet there'll be a new T someday. There's already the SJ33.

On a related topic, has anyone seen the demo shot of the portable keyboard under the T accessories at Sony? It shows a T with a virtual grafitti area. LOL in that same demo the text talks about the camera.

But maybe they've got something up their sleeve.

No info has been released yet, so no one is sure.

Gosh I love my T665 - but seeing that TX65 design - EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT IS FAKE - makes me drool! I really hope Sony sees this and makes the replacement for the T665 exactly like this. I would buy this PDA! SONY ARE YOU LISTENING?!?!

Its only a dream machine. but for me a replaceable battery is a must or one with 15 hours usage time like the new cassiopea.

I'm hoping that Sony will at least come close to my TX75 design :) Hi-Res+ OS 5 are a must before I consider getting a new T series. Bluetooth, CF Slot, 32 MB or RAM (or more) and voice record I can live without (though would like - although that would jack the price up a bit). Realistically though, it should STILL be cheaper than an NX70, because the manufacturing costs would be lower without the keyboard/swivel/camera addition.

RAM would be the next addition, I would hope, though. I like to load large scale maps and other images, and you need to have a fair amount of RAM free for the task. Not to mention a TRULY kick *** paint package which combines oversized image painting (zoomable), the tool set of Drawit, with the accuracy of Clie Paint.

It did say in the Clie Planet article that it was a competition entry- always read the 'whole' article:)

I have many others to come as well.

That pic of the T-series w/ virtual Graf is straight from Sony and old as heck... wonder why they never came out with it?

Never came out with what? The pic is just a poor photoshop job from some graphics people who knew nothing about the product. You can see the down arror for the up/down toggle. Stuff like this happens all the time. For instance, I have seen several images of a ice blue Visor Deluxe with a color screen.
