From the phone screen if you use the drop down menu and go to Options and Phone Lock. The Lock Code it asks for, what is the default code? How can I change it? Is it same as the password set in Security - Lock Device?

Yes, the same passord you set in security. Without it you have to hard reset

I don't think that is the case as it only take numbers.

I am not looking to unlock it, I wanted lock the phone, when I go through the steps to do so it asks for a Lock Code. I think there are two options in the Treo, one to lock the phone and the other to lock the device. This is only for the phone, so nothing except 911 and the pre-listed emergency numbers can be dialed.
